What Every Medical Assistant Should Know About Pediatric Vaccines

On Friday, June 25, 2010, the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics will offer a FREE educational seminar for medical assistants and other office personnel on the issues these practice staff encounter on a daily basis related to immunizations. The seminar will be held from 10am to 4pm at Northwestern College in Bridgeview, at 7725 South Harlem.

This program will review the current immunization schedule and immunization updates in 2010, vaccine storage and handling, vaccine administration skills and techniques, professionalism in the workplace and health risk communication regarding vaccine safety.
