New Trainings for Early Intervention

Posted on: August 29, 2011

ICAAP and its partners, Advocate Health Care Healthy Steps, the Illinois EI Training Program, and the Illinois Bureau of EI, are proud to offer a series of four new trainings from the Coordinating Care between EI and the Primary Care Medical Home Project.

These trainings are intended for Illinois Early Interventionists, national Part C staff, and other advocates for children. They address common barriers that service coordinators and EI therapists face when trying to communicate with a medical provider. Participants will receive instruction for new project-developed tools to improve care coordination, timeliness of services, access to documentation from the primary care provider, and improved patient outcomes.
