Save Medicaid Access and Resources Together (SMART) Act

In June 2012, the Illinois Legislature passed a series of Medicaid reforms known as the SMART act. This act calls for many changes in Medicaid such as requiring authorization for more than four prescriptions. This page provides more information the act including links to provider notices.
