Chapter Committees

ICAAP committees undertake projects in education, publication, advocacy, and other areas and include not only pediatricians but other health and child welfare professionals. If you are interested in assisting the ICAAP by participating on a committee – or if you would like to help start a new ICAAP committee – please contact the appropriate committee chairperson or the ICAAP office.
School Health
The ICAAP Committee on School Health (COSH) serves as a forum for pediatricians, school nurses, and others to discuss issues related to the health of children while in school. It facilitates collaboration between health care providers, state administrators, and school personnel, keeps members informed of relevant legislation, and addresses important school health issues.
