Enhancing Developmentally Oriented Primary Care

About EDOPC | EDOPC Education for Providers | EDOPC Policy and Advocacy

The Enhancing Developmentally Oriented Primary Care Project (EDOPC) was a 2005-2013 partnership of the the Advocate Health Care, Healthy Steps Program and Illinois Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics. Together, we worked to improve the delivery and financing of preventative health and developmental services for children birth to three. We built upon existing programs, such as the Health Steps model, to develop a range of strategies that primary care settings can implement to effectively provide comprehensive developmentally oriented health care.

This page provides policy briefs developed as part of the EDOPC project on advocacy issues affecting preventive health and developmental services for children birth to age three.
