Midwest Human Rights Consortium Mentorship Gathering – Presentation on Psychological Forensic Evaluation

Please join us for our next mentorship gathering on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 3-5 pm. We will meet virtually via Zoom. We welcome Aimee Hilado, Ph.D. LCSW Founder/Clinical Director of The RefugeeOne Wellness Program & ZERO TO THREE Fellow.

Dr. Hillado will present a case that successfully was granted asylum. This session will provide an introduction to conducting forensic psychological evaluations for asylum seekers. This includes information on how to conduct the interview, how to prepare the affidavit, and highlighting the importance of clinical engagement strategies when interviewing survivors of trauma seeking immigration relief.
