Please join us for “Pediatric Immigrant and Refugee Health Care in the 21st Century—Clinical and Policy Perspectives” featuring renowned pediatrician Janine Young, MD, FAAP on Friday, December 3, 2021. Her career is focused on health care and access to care for immigrants and refugees. She is a national speaker on topics such as the standard of care for immigrant medical screening guidelines, female genital cutting, evaluation and treatment of unaccompanied children, and medical-immigration law collaboration. She is the Medical Director of the Denver Health Refugee Clinic and Co-Medical Director of the Human Rights Clinic at Denver Health. In addition, she is on the Executive Committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council of Immigrant Child and Family Health.
