In 2024, Illinois released its first report on the mortality and morbidity of people experiencing homelessness. Join ICAAP’s Collaborative on Child Homeless – IL (COCHI) for a presentation by UIC researchers on the findings from that report, focusing on pregnant persons and young children, and discuss policy and practice implications that could inform future iterations of this work. The presentation will also cover how healthcare providers can benefit their patient population by promoting increased data collection on housing instability.
